Florida SBDC Testifies Before The U.S. House Small Business Committee

The U.S. House Small Business Committee, Chaired by Congresswoman Velazquez, held a hearing on “The State of SBA’s Entrepreneurial Development Programs and Their Role in Promoting an Economic Recovery” on Wednesday, February 11 at 1:00 p.m. As Chairman of the Association of SBDC’s, FSBDCN State Director Jerry Cartwright was invited to testify at the hearing along with Carol Gregg, an entrepreneur and SBTDC client from the Missouri congressional district of Ranking Member Sam Graves; Barbara Wrigley from the Board of the Association of Women Business Centers; Margot Dorfman, CEO of the U.S. Women’s Chamber of Commerce; Charles Wolfe, President of Claggett Wolfe Associates, an economic development consulting firm in Auburn, California; and Ron Blackburn, President of ASPIRA, a national training and education non-profit for Latino youth.
