Entrepreneurship on the Ropes?

Scott A. Shane, professor of entrepreneurial studies at Case Western Reserve University, writes in the N.Y. Times that we may be trending down in entrepreneurship. Shane has some interesting graphs and speaks of the Wal-Mart effect (from his own 2008 book The Illusions of Entrepreneurship”) as a reason for small business marginalization.
