Small Business Resource Fair a Hit in Lake City

The staff of the Small Business Development Center made a road trip yesterday to Lake City with our SBDC Mobile Assistance Center. The event with one hundred attendees, featured a welcome by UNF SBDC Regional Director Janice Donaldson, and panel discussions on topics such as Selling to the Government, Tapping into the Stimulus and Other Federal and State Opportunities and Managing for Small Business Success. Thirteen business resource agencies exhibited to an eager crowd.
It is hoped that this event will lead to a more active small business assistance environment in the Columbia County area. Thanks to The Honorable Debbie Boyd (Dist. 11) and The Honorable Leonard Bembry (Dist. 10) as well as Lake City Community College and our resource partners for helping make this Small Business Resource Fair happen!
