    Veterans’ Pathway to Business Success
    provides grants to Veterans who: served in Afghanistan or Iraq after Sept. 11, 2001; have or are eligible for an honorable discharge; reside in Florida and can provide proof of residency; and present a detailed business plan for eventual approval by the Board of Directors.  Use of funds includes: creation or expansion of a business (start-up costs, marketing/advertising/public relations, inventory purchase, workforce build out, and other working capital for expansion).  The Board also considers the applicant’s experience/references, impact of funding on job creation and compelling financials/business plan.

    Entrepreneurship training under the G I Bill
    allows eligible service members and veterans to use VA education benefits to take entrepreneurship courses offered by the Small Business Development Centers (SBDCs). Individual courses must be specifically approved for VA purposes to use your benefits.  An application for benefits (VA Form 22 1990) can be submitted online or in hard copy.
