Q.  What is the first step?

A.  Contact a local PTAC center. It will save you time and money.

 

Q.  How do I complete my System for Award Management (SAM) registration?

A.  Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database is required
prior to being awarded a contract with any federal government agency.  No-cost assistance in completing SAM registrations can be found under the Help section at
www.sam.gov, or by contacting your local PTAC Specialist at www.fptac.org.

 



Lisa and Paul…I just wanted to report to both of you…with sincere appreciation for your assistance… that I won my first gov bid contract as a CCR Registered Small Business. If there is somewhere I can log this success in to help justify the need for your counseling program, please send the form and I will report this right away.

Without help from both of you, I would still be ‘in the weeds’ trying to comply with the gov registration process. I still have a lot to learn but this award is a great start and indication that you steered me in the right direction…
