Since 2000, Rami Rawdah has been steadily growing his company, ImageStoreHouse, in Jacksonville, Florida. Today, Rami and his team provide document imaging and management services for multi-national corporations, government agencies and area businesses. Their capabilities have also grown to include complete turn-key data management, document imaging, conversion services, data indexing and secure storage solutions. Their market has also expanded to include supporting customers in the healthcare, manufacturing, engineering, retail, transportation, financial, legal, law enforcement, and government markets. The success of ImageStoreHouse is no secret to their customers, as Rami says, “We believe that we are the best at what we do and strive to provide the finest services at a fair and equitable price.”

Rami and his team have been utilizing the services of the FSBDC at the University of North Florida for over 10 years. Recognizing the importance of expanding and diversifying their markets, Rami and his VP of Business Development, Jerry Soriano, turned to the FSBDC for assistance. Their first stop was to engage the services of the FSBDC Government Contracting Services Program. They met with the local Government Contracting Specialist, Don Zavesky, to discuss what business registrations they would need, how to market to government buyers and prime contractors, and to determine which government market segments to focus their business development efforts on. In order to be eligible for federal contract awards, we worked together to successfully complete the System for Award Management (SAM) registration. They also completed their profile information in the SBA’s Dynamic Small Business Search; a database used by government buyers to find contractors who provide the services and commodities agencies need to support our country. Rami and Jerry fully utilized FSBDC’s training programs as well, which included successfully completing our Government Contracting University training series and receiving the course certificate of completion. Recently, they have been completing their proposal for becoming an approved GSA Schedule vendor; they anticipate successful completion in early 2015.

The FSBDC is proud to be associated with and in support of Rami and the ImageStoreHouse team. Since successfully completing all required government registrations, they have been enrolled in the new FSBDC Bid Matching Service. This is a no-cost service, offered to select FSBDC clients, that delivers specific federal, state, local, and worldwide government contracting opportunities relevant to the client’s business. Every day through email alerts, ImageStoreHouse receives potential opportunities, specifically researched for them. In close coordination with their FSBDC consultant, they carefully review each opportunity, make go/no-go decisions, and prepare proposals for government contract awards. As a result, they have submitted multiple proposals through this service and anticipate success in the near future. ImageStoreHouse is another great example of how, as a team, together with Florida business owners, the FSBDC can make a positive impact in the community – one business at time.
