The resources of the Florida SBDC and consultant Cheryl Lynch are priceless. Cheryl has been a guiding light for us, saving us time and money, as we launch our business.

When Chris Leduc graduated from UNF with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and a focus in marketing, he knew one day it was going to be put to good use. Chris currently works for the Property appraiser in Palatka and has always had a passion for his community and the local businesses and nonprofits that operate there. He is, self admittedly, a millennial seeking to help change the vision and perception of Putnam County. “We want Putnam County to become the destination location where people can visit our beautiful resources, shop at our local businesses and eat at our local restaurants”, says Leduc.

To help achieve this vision, Leduc began planning to start his own business, River City Marketing, a web and media solutions company that will assist businesses with their platforms and messaging for current and prospective customers. For help, he turned to the Florida SBDC in Putnam County. According to Leduc, “The resources of the Florida SBDC and consultant Cheryl Lynch are priceless. Cheryl has been a guiding light for us, saving us time and money, as we launch our business.”

“It is definitely challenging, trying to keep up with the shifting outlets to reach your current customers and grasp the attention of new ones,” says Lynch. “ The fact that Chris is a millennial and understands the different social media platforms, web design, branding, SEO and targeted online marketing, he will be a huge asset to the businesses here and beyond the county borders.”

River City Marketing’s branding statement says it all, “Developing Innovative Strategies for Achieving Growth”. One size does not fit all in the online world anymore. Businesses must be ever evolving, which is a difficult task for small business owners to stay on top of. Leduc and his team will be able to ease that burden of keeping up the lines of communications between businesses and their customers, both new and existing.
